Fatemeh Takhtkeshian is a London-based visual artist and practice-based researcher working across painting, drawing, collage and image transfer. Her work explores identity, memory, borders, material processes and the relationship between personal experience and place.

Through layering, fragmentation and reassembly, she examines how images, materials and spaces carry traces of different histories and experiences. Her recent work extends these concerns towards landscape, borders and spatial experience.
